What we're about
Who says education has to be boring? At Grassroots Early Learning Centre in Maudsland, we love to combine purposeful education with a whole lot of fun for your little ones. As a Steiner-influenced early learning centre, our holistic teaching methods focus on supporting and developing all aspects of your child’s intellectual, moral, creative and spiritual sides through an interactive, hands-on approach to learning.
We’re based in Maudsland on the sunny Gold Coast and welcome families from all surrounding Gold Coast suburbs.

A Steiner influenced Early Learning Centre
Early childhood is an exciting and magical time for your child.
Our centre allows children to learn and grow in an open and integrated classroom where they are taught important values such as love, compassion, inclusion and diversity. We believe the Steiner method of teaching helps to spark a sense of wonder and curiosity about the world and fuels a love of learning that will stay with them into adulthood. That is why our Philosophy is influenced by Steiner.
We aim to grow children’s minds and nurture their souls while being surrounded by the tranquillity of our beautiful natural environment. You can enjoy peace of mind knowing your child is fully supervised by highly experienced early childhood educators in a safe and inspiring place.
We also provide a range of healthy food options for your child to help save you time and encourage good eating habits from an early age.
Fun At The Farm
Did we mention that we also have an amazing on-site Farmhouse? This unique attraction has proven to be super popular with all our children and includes chickens. Children thoroughly enjoy collecting the eggs to take home each day. Two baby lambs have now joined the farm. As they are young we are educating children about how to engage in a calm and friendly manner.
The children regularly engage in nursing our Guinea Pigs. We can't forget about ‘Benji’ our Maltese Shiatzu Dog.
Animals are a fantastic way for children to learn social, verbal and problem solving skills, as well as develop important values such as gratitude, responsibility and collaboration – all while making some new hairy friends!
